The Art Screen Package
Just some of the upcoming films in the Art Screen Package:
The Art Screen Package allows the advertiser to target the most select cinema audience at Art Screen sites and with Art Screen films at mainstream locations. E.g. ODEON Covent Garden isn't a boutique cinema but it shows upmarket Art Screen films.
The audience that watches art house films is older than both the mainstream cinema audience and the population as a whole - 84% are aged over 25.
They are also more upmarket than the mainstream cinema audience with a high proportion of affluent AB's (39%), and ABC1s (74%).
Art Screens tend to be concentrated in metropolitan areas and towns with an affluent population such as Bath, Chichester, Nottingham, Edinburgh and London.
Art screen film product tends to include Independent films, foreign language films and documentaries – all of these genres are becoming more popular with a mainstream audience. Top art house films of 2006 included : Brokeback Mountain, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Queen and Volver.
